Just like MSG, even Radhe Maa is controversy’s favorite child. While Gurmeet Ram Rahim was in news for raping 2 sadhvis and getting 20 years imprisonment, Radhe Maa has hit the headlines for different reasons altogether. Now, the Punjay and Haryana High Court have ordered to file an FIR against her on the basis of complaint filed by Surender Mittal. She had seduced him and had cursed him later.

She was an ordinary tailor; you won’t believe but it’s true! But now, she’s India’s God Woman. Guess India’s God Men were not enough, LOL.

We would like to highlight few facts about the controversial Radhe Maa…

1. Radhe Maa’s original name is Sukhvinder Kaur.

2. She was born on 3 March 1965 in Dorangala village of Gurdaspur district in Punjab.

3. Kaur studied till Class X and after that she married to Mohan Singh at age 18 . Sources say, till than she was not completely exposed to spirituality.

4. She used to stitch clothes to supplement her husband’s small income. After her husband left for Doha (Qatar) in search of a better job, she was attracted towards spirituality

5. At the age of 23, she became a disciple of Mahant Ram Deen Das of 1008 Paramhans Bagh Dera Mukerian in Hoshiarpur district who gave him the name Radhe Ma.

6. Radhe Maa’s style of blessing her devotees is apparently to dance with them and have them lift and carry her. She also allows her devotees to kiss her.

7. She is blessed with three children and infact she is a grandmother as well. Followers however claim that the relationship between Radhe Maa and her husband and children is that of guru and disciple.

8. She has been banned from the Nashik Kumbh mela on August 29 2015 by the Dwarkapeeth Shankaracharya Swami Swarupanand. Why this decision? Well, it is because they feel “The entry of pretenders is rising in the sacred arena of sadhus and mahants. Trikal Bhavanta, Radhe Maa, and Sachchidananda, who is a liquor professional, should be restrained from participating in the ‘shahi snan’ (sacred bath).

9. Talli baba and Choti Ma are main disciplines of Radhe ma. Talli Baba forwards the proposal to Chotti Maa who then approaches Radhe Maa. Chotti Maa is the only authority who gets to see Radhe Maa and she is the foremost sevika of Guru Ma, who has been granted divine power by Radhe Ma.
